Vintage Style

Welcome to another Pretty Palettes Challenge! I bet you thought I forgot this blog should include some creative goodies, didn't you? What with all my chatting here lately? Fear not, I have a pretty little card that this uses this week's challenge colors: Pale yellow, Orchid and Navy.

I know it's hard to tell from this photo, but the card base is a pale yellow cardstock that was overlayed with a lacy printed vellum. I've had the vellum for years so I guess it's vintage itself! The image and sentiment are from My Time Made Easy's digital set, Grammy's Sewing Kit. I colored the dress form and sentiment navy in Photoshop, printed it and then added the orchid color with Copics. The seam binding I have had around for quite some time and I thought the hat pin added to the vintage look.
