Vintage Style

Welcome to another Pretty Palettes Challenge! I bet you thought I forgot this blog should include some creative goodies, didn't you? What with all my chatting here lately? Fear not, I have a pretty little card that this uses this week's challenge colors: Pale yellow, Orchid and Navy.

I know it's hard to tell from this photo, but the card base is a pale yellow cardstock that was overlayed with a lacy printed vellum. I've had the vellum for years so I guess it's vintage itself! The image and sentiment are from My Time Made Easy's digital set, Grammy's Sewing Kit. I colored the dress form and sentiment navy in Photoshop, printed it and then added the orchid color with Copics. The seam binding I have had around for quite some time and I thought the hat pin added to the vintage look.

I hope you'll pop over and see what the rest of the team created. Then play along with us! You don't even have to use products from My Time Made Easy (although we'd love it if you did!). And you have two weeks to enter so plenty of time! Hope to see your entry there!
