Gift Tags with MTME and the Pretty Palette Team

This week at My Time Made easy, the colors the Pretty Palette team is working with are Eggplant, Ivory and Rust. I immediately thought of pumpkin pie (and cookies) and another favorite I like to make this time of year, Blackberry Bread. So I made these gift tags to tie to some homemade goodies that I am going to bake for the upcoming holiday:

As you can see, I took a little liberty with the color pallette and added black, as well. (Adding a neutral color isn't cheating, is it?) The oven mitts (from the What's Cooking? MTME digi stamp set) were colored in Photoshop, printed and cut out. I cut the loop off the printed image and replaced it with a black twine loop for texture. The tags themselves are created with two different Nestabilities dies and layered together. The rust colored ribbon was stapled to the tag and a space was left to write the recipient's name.

The colors remind me a little of Halloween, but I think they will look great added to some yummy fall taste treats! I hope you will join us and play along this week! And be sure to check out the new products available at the MTME store - sooo adorable!

Be back again soon -

I love the shape of these, Mary! Does blackberry bread really have blackberries in it? Sounds so yummy!
