Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's time for another customer blog hop at Papertrey Ink and this month, the theme is textiles!

Think Autumn, fabrics, patterns, textures...and here's what I came up with:

I started with a canvas piece that I picked up a couple of months ago and stamped one of the Year of Flowers Collection images in black on it. I assumed that Copics would bleed on the canvas so I used colored pencils to color the image. The Canyon Clay background was then impressed with the stripes impression plate and I added three bands of ribbon to the lower half of the card to add a little more interest and texture. A couple of small pearls (not PTI) bling up the flowers.

Thanks for stopping and enjoy hopping!

Very pretty card! Love the ribbon treatment and your use of the fabric. I'll have to try my pencils using canvas. Thanks for sharing.
