Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Flag Day! And welcome to the new day for the MTME Pretty Palette challenge! We will now be bringing you a new challenge every other week on Thursdays so let's get into the colors we're working with - and I have to admit, these were a little tough for me!

Such a gorgeous combo of colors and yet, I was stumped I tell ya! But in the end, I am pretty happy with the results:

I started out by creating my own background "paper" using the Argyle Amazement set which I stamped on ivory with a light blue ink and then I added a little dot between the argyle in a honey/mustard color. The letters are from the beautiful Monograms Defined set and were stamped with a rust colored ink. Everything was matted on rust and blue cardstocks and the very bottom mat of blue was paper pierced around the edges. The ribbon - which is actually a rust color although here it shows up sort of orange - added a simple embellishment without adding bulk to the card. (Cardstock and ink from Close To My Heart).

Now that you have 2 weeks to play along with us, I hope you will join us for this challenge. I can't wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

Well you created a beauty even though you were stumped! I love that monogram set and it looks so pretty being the focus of your card!
