Something for the guys

At the Corrosive Challenge blog this week, we are creating masculine cards. I don't know about you, but this always seems like a challenge for me! Guy cards just don't come as easily as feminine cards do for me. But there are a few men in the family and they deserve a birthday card too! So this was the perfect challenge for me as I needed to send a birthday card to a nephew in Texas. This is what I came up with:

PaperTrey Ink to the rescue! All products are from PTI. I used the Library Ledger paper (love!) as well as the newer text embossing plate and the Just the Ticket stamp set. I kept the embellishments to a minimum, adding just a little twine here and there. And don't you just love that ticket die! Yep, that's how I cut out the tickets for this card. Perfection, I tell ya!

This is a pretty straight forward card so there aren't really any Big Ideas to share with you this week. But I surely have some next week so stay tuned! Now go create yourself something masculine and play along with us! We would love to see what you create!!
