OCC Sketch Challenge - We've Moved

No, we haven't moved but that's the theme of this card I have to share with you!

I have two posts today - both are cards created for sketch challenges at Our Creative Corner. I'm running a bit behind (with the holiday this week) but I am happy with the results and wanted to share the results with you!


The first card was a little tricky as the sketch included a house shape -

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
I knew I wanted something a little less Christmasy and in my mind, I was picturing something that looked almost quilted or sewn together so this is what I came up with:
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The gorgeous paper is still somewhat festive but I made the card to be a "we've moved" card. Everything was created from paper, stickers (can't remember the last time I used a sticker!) ribbon, stitching and a couple other embellishments, including wire "smoke" coming from the chimney. The only stamping is the sentiment that was then cut with a tag Nestabilities die and added to the front.
