Another Corrosive day - with Ice Cream

Any day is a good day when you have ice cream!

This week's Corrosive Challenge is to create a kid's birthday card. I decided to create an invitation that would be great for a kid's birthday - invite their friends over for an ice cream party! Provide loads of different toppings and sprinkles and let the kids create their own sundae - and don't forget to invite me!

Here's the invite:

The cutey cone image is from My Cute Stamps and the "You're Invited" stamp is from JustRite.

Here's some Big Ideas for this week's card:

*Don't have the perfect sentiment? Print what you need on your printer and then trim and add to your card. In this card, the ice cream saying was printed on vellum and cut and added to the card so as not to hide the decorative paper.

* Punch a few polka dots out of matching paper and add to a polka dot printed paper to add extra dimension. If you click the picture above, you might be able to tell that a few dots on the right side of the card are popped up a bit. These were punched and added after the image was added to create the extra dimension and also to add a few dots for balance.

Come on over to Corrosive Challenges this week and enter your best kid's birthday card! You might just win an assortment of buttons - and who can't use more buttons???

Have a creative week!
