Release Day for Sherrod Studio and a New Designer!

I'm so excited for the new sets being released at Sherrod Studio today - they are soooo cute and versatile! And perfect for the holidays!

Ok on to my release day creation:

A clean and simple card featuring Christmas Greetings. I rarely make a card with so much white space but the trees in this set are so pretty that they really don't need a lot of embellishment - and it makes assembly line creating so easy!

I embossed the snowflake background with a Cuttlebug folder on shiny blue paper that I found last year in the holiday section at Target. The tree was stamped with Lilac Mist ink from Close To My Heart (which is more blue than lilac) and the two pieces were cut with the Large Labels Nestabilities dies. They were layered onto the card front and the saying was stamped toward the bottom - don't you love the font?? So adorable!

Last but not least, I added some Diamond Stickles to the small dots on the tree but that doesn't show too well in the photo. Click to see a larger version and you might catch a little shimmer.
