Another fun theme for this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop - create a card with a black background.
Now black is a little hard to stamp on, unless of course you emboss, or use white. So I opted to go the die cut route and use my new clock face die as a large decorative item on my card instead of as a clock:
I did stamp a couple of white swirls and then added my metallic silver die-cut clock face with multi-colored sections - kind of reminds me of a stained glass image - especially with the Giga Guidelines image in the center! I found some Copic markers similar to my larger circles and colored in some of the sections in the stamped image. The Make a Wish sentiment is from the new Everyday Photo Finishers stamp set. And a little rhinestone in the center to bling things up a bit.
Thanks for hopping by and I hope you'll stop again soon!

Very cool design Mary!
I like how you used the clock die. The Copic colors match your CS wonderfully and I always like to see we ways to use the Giga Stamp set.
What a clever way to use the clock die!
Wonderful. Your very own Rose window. That clock face die really does get the old gears turning. That look would be great with a "you color my world' sentiment". (Is that passe now?) Thanks for taking the time to share.
wow - I did a double take when I realized that you used the clock face! Fabulous idea!
