This week's colors for the Pretty Palette challenge are some of my favorite: pink, gray and white. Perfect colors for a simple sympathy card to send to my sister-in-law who's Grandma just passed away on Thursday.
I used a digi image from the Round Off set and colored the image digitally before printing. This makes it soooo easy! The sentiment is from the set as well and I simply copied and pasted it right onto the image. Easy peasy. It was then cut out with a scalloped oval Nestabilities die and mounted to a oval piece, also cut with a Nesties die. The layer behind the focal piece is a pale gray cardstock that was impressed, then it was mounted to a black piece and then on to a white card base. A loop of white satin ribbon is the only embellishment, keeping the card clean and sophisticated.
I hope you will take a minute to check out what the rest of the Design Team did with these colors - you can find them all here.
Also, there will be a new challenge schedule starting this month. This is the last Pretty Palette challenge that will appear on a Sunday. Instead, our challenges will post on Thursdays and we will alternate every other week with the Pretty Patterns challenge. So I will be back on June 14th with the next Pretty Palette challenge. In the meantime, I have other goodies to share with you so be sure to stop by again soon!
OH and one last thing - the June release is now available at My Time Made Easy - wait till you see the adorable camper box!! Be sure to stop by and see what's new!!
