Our inspiration this month was this photo:
I love this color combination so much I am using it as my theme for a new business venture I am starting - stay tuned for more on that soon! So I let the colors be the driving force for the card I created:
I started with a page of book print and stamped the leaves from Rosie Posie in a border on the left. I added that to a background of Ripe Avocado and added a band of black toward the top. The black cardstock was impressed with the Diamonds impression plate and then tied with a black ribbon and bow. This was then mounted to a cream card base. The final piece is the image from the 2012 Birthday Tags set. I stamped it in black on cream cardstock and colored in the leaves to match the ones I stamped. Then I embossed the entire piece three times with clear ep. That tag is now nice and shiny!
Here's a close-up so you can see the embossing a little better. I love the end result but then again, you just can't go wrong with PTI products!

i have the rosie poise stamp set too, but haven't stamped with that big leaf yet because it always intimidates me...you just inspired me! way to rock it! great card!

Oh I want this stamp set! LOL Love how you stamped and stacked the leaves. It's really fun to stamp on book print. It always surprises me, it takes the ink so well.
