Mother's Day

I am getting a late start to my Mother's Day cards - especially since one of them has to make its way to Texas! It's going in the mail tomorrow so I know it won't make it in time but maybe by Monday at least?

I used the Pretty Peonies set from Papertrey Ink as well as the Mat Stack 2 (?) set. The frame was cut using 2 Nestabilities dies, one inside the other. The piece that is missing there is going to be used on another card. I inked the peony in CTMH Baby Pink ink and then sponged a little Sorbet ink on the image before stamping it on textured white cardstock. The outline of the flower is Sorbet ink. I added a piece of crocheted lace to the card, over the frame edges and under the image, and wrapped white satin ribbon around the card front tied in a little bow. The inside of the card simply says Thanks for everything (also from the Peony set).

I will hopefully get my second Mother's Day card posted before Sunday but with my list of to-do's, I'm not making any promises!  Have a wonderful Friday!
