COLD!

Yesterday started off pretty nice for a February day and then....snow, freezing rain, ice, loss of power....more snow expected. Am I over it for this winter? You betcha! But before I let it go completely, I have a challenge for you that will fit the weather just fine!
At Heart 2 Heart Challenges this week, we want to see your interpretation of the word COLD. This could be a color, or an image or a sentiment - anything that makes us think of cold. Here is my card:

I think one of these trees is laying in my backyard right now! Anyhow, I kept things pretty simple for this card, using an older paper pack (Aspen) and the winter tree from the Four Seasons stamp set. The three sections that were stamped on were die cut with a die by Papertrey Ink. The snowflake brad is from my stash.

And yes, this looks a lot like our yard today - nothing like the 50 degree weather we had just a couple of days ago!  I hope you will play along with us this week at H2H - it's the last week of the month to enter to win one of two prize packages!!

Have a creative (and warm) day~

Sorry about the snow, Mary. Your card does remind me of the view of my backyard covered in snow. Great card!

This is my all-time favorite paper, and I almost used it for this challenge too! I love your trees, and the rounded corners keep it uniformly clean. Great card!

Great card Mary! It sure does make me feel "cold!" Feel free to send some of that cold stuff my way. It's been sunny and warm here in Southern CA! Doesn't feel much like winter out here. *Ü*
