It's Back to School with Shirley's 2 Girls!

Today is my first post as Guest Design Team member with Shirley's 2 Girls and I am so excited to work with their adorable images! Always one of my favorites! The theme this month is Back to School so let's get to it!

The challenge this week is to include the color red in your artwork. Here is the sample I created:

This adorable little guy is going back to school ready to make a first impression with his teacher! It's always a good idea to start the year off with a big Thank You and an apple. The September/apple paper is something I had in my stash forever and the red is a piece from a Basic Grey paper pack. I colored the digi image with Copics and cut it with a deckle Nestabilities die. A couple of red eyelets were added as well as an apple charm on the sentiment.
