Stamp your own Background - H2H

Our challenge this week over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges is to create your own background using stamps. I just got the Buttoned Together stamp set from Close To My Heart so I had to break it out and ink it up!

Now what I loved about this project was that I could stick a few of the button stamps all together on one acrylic block and ink and stamp them all together at one time. I then colored the images with some bright Copic markers because they had to be colorful in order to match my sentiment - also from the set. A simple black mat, a little ribbon and a couple of real buttons and my card was done! Love that!

Want to play along with us? Stamp your own background and then post your finished project to your blog or another online gallery. Then head over to the challenge blog and leave a direct link to your project. You might win a great prize package from this week's sponsor - Ruth - or be chosen for our next Friday Five! And don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT created, as well as our Guest DT for the month - Deneen!

Have a good Monday! Again, my apologies to anyone who was planning on attending my Open House this past Saturday. You can read why it was cancelled by checking out the post below this one. I hope to see you in the Fall for the next Open House -

Love how bright and colorful this is! And the pops of black really contrast nicely.

This card is awesome! You did a fantastic job coloring all those buttons. I just love the bright, cheery colors you used. Isn't it fun to have the satisfaction of making your own background paper?
