This week, I have a couple of projects to share with you that I think will wrap up my Halloween creating. Then we're on to my favorite of all card making seasons - Christmas!
Today, I have a super cute House Mouse card to share with you. I think these "meeces" are so adorable and in costume, they are down right undeniably cute!
This was a fun card to make but easy at the same time. I created a tri fold type card that measures about 5" square. I added the DP to the top and bottom card flaps and then "wiggly" stitched around the sections. I also added a little ink distressing around the edges. The image was stamped with Memento ink and colored with a combination of Copics and pencils, cut with a Nestabilities die and also ink distressed around the edges. I adhered the image portion to the top flap of the card, leaving the bottom free so you can open the card. A couple of buttons were stitched to some luxurious suede type ribbon and then added to the card for a little embellishment.
For some fun with House Mouse images, be sure to check out this week's challenge at House Mouse and Friends!
We are off to Las Vegas tomorrow for a few days of vacation but I will have a post or two to share with you through the week so stop by again!
Have a creative day!
