As promised, I am finally getting Sunday's sketch posted:
This is a fun sketch because you can really do a lot with the strips that make up the background - stamp in them, use them for techniques, use up some paper scraps for them, etc... and then simply add a matted image, some embellies and you're good to go!
Here's my sample - just in time for Mother's Day:
All products are from Close To My Heart. The images are embossed in white on the main center piece and I added an extra piece on top of that with my sentiment. The horizontal element on the sketch was completed with ribbon on my card which was trimmed with an edge anchor on one side.
If you would like to play along with this sketch, upload your artwork to your blog or other online gallery and then come back here and link to it through Mister Linky below. If you post before noon EST on Friday, you will be entered into the monthly blog candy drawing! This is your last chance for April!
I also have the winner drawn for the 10,000 visitor blog candy package but I am going to keep you in suspense until tomorrow. Be sure to stop back then and see if you are the winner! Have a creative week!

Very pretty and cool sketch!
I have that paper! I love it! Made a cute sb page with it, in fact. I could not dream of cutting up my CTMH paper for cards! LOL Instead of hoarding, once I use it on a LO, I will move it to my card pile. It is just so pretty...
What a great color combo - I really like the paper strips you used!
Great sketch! I had fun playing:)
hugs
