Last...ummm, first ....but not least Time-Out Tuesday post!

Ok this looks confusing but just to clarify, there are 4 Time-Out Tuesday posts today so be sure to scroll through them all!!!!!

I am posting my challenge entries for the Birthday celebration going on over at Paper Garden Projects. The party is sooo big it needed 4 separate posts! So while this looks like the first post of the day, it's actually the last. Anyways, who cares about that - let's get on to the artwork!

Week 4 challenge: Background Stamping!

The bottom section of this card was created with the new Guidelines 2 set from Papertrey Ink. I love all of the different options and looks you can create using this and the original Guidelines sets! The flower is from Hero Arts and the saying (and B&T paper at the top section) is from Close To My Heart. I stamped the saying on vellum which is overlaying the oval piece stamped with the flower. Ink is all from Close To My Heart. The ribbon is PTI as is the cardstock. And I used the Canvas inkpad I picked up at PTI and lightly dabbed it over the stamped background area to soften the colors a bit and to add a little textury feel - very cool!

Thanks for visiting - be sure to scroll through all of the posts today (and the So Sketchy Sunday post is further down). Have a creative day!

Beautiful background! You stamped it perfectly. You know - I've gotten into such a habit of using patterned paper I forget how much I like stamped backgrounds.

Thanks so much for playing all my challenges. I loved my visit to your blog. I'll have to come back again!

Hi Mary! I was checking out the PTI Guidelines 2 set earlier. Did you find it easy to use? I love how it looks! I might have to order it :)
