Today's feature is from the CTMH group at Paper Craft Planet. Cindy set up a challenge of "sweet Treats" in honor of valentine's Day. She posted a list of things we might want to wish for as a V-Day gift, such as Diamonds, a Romantic Dinner, even a new Crafting Space! We entered our wishes and then received a list as to what each item represented - for example, Diamonds might mean brads, a Romantic Dinner might mean patterned paper and so on. These were the elements that we had to then use to create our card. Along with the basics (white and 1 color of cs, black ink or marker, 1 stamp and ribbon), the items I had to incorporate were:
patterned paper
dry embossing
brads
paper piercing
matted circle or oval
Here's what I came up with:
All of the elements are there if you look closely! This will be the card for my son tomorrow so I tried to go a little masculine. All products are CTMH except the dry embossed dog (this is a Cuttlebug die) and the markers used to color him. Added some Diamond Stickles for some bling too cause what's Valentine's Day without a little glitz!
I hope you'll check out Paper Craft Planet for more awesome challenges!
