Ok so VC is over for another year {whew} and we have a few more appointments with Jake over {whew} and things are ....dare I say it?....maybe slowing down for a bit {double whew} cause I need some time to catch my breath. I need a vacation. Not gonna get one but I sure could use one! One where they cook and clean for you. Oh well. That is why I love my stamping room - a little get away every day. I can just slink off and play for about an hour and feel a little refreshed. Of course I have a swap due in a few days so I do have to hurry and get that done....and the circle continues. But here is a new little something I made with the upcoming Sept. Stamp of the Month set from Close to My Heart:
It's hard to tell that the sky is blue on this card but I promise you, it is. Everything was created with sponged ink and cardstock masks and the image was stamped as a black silhouette for contrast. I think this will be one of my new favorite sets.
