In love with a "Bug"

Change is inevitable and hopefully, if you have visited this blog before you will notice (and like) the new look. Fresher, more colorful and ready to bring you some new, interesting and fun posts! I no longer have a CTMH website so this is the place to find me on the web - and to share my life and creativity! I hope you will check back often as this blog continues to grow and change.

There have been many changes in our house the last few months, the biggest one being our son's graduation from high school. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and can't wait to experience college "with" him. A new chapter for all of us!

We finally have a new vehicle that enables us to take Jacob places in his power wheelchair and that has been such a wonderful change for our family! It is so enjoyable to go places where he can have more independence and explore with more freedom. He's learning to navigate through stores to the electronics department quite well!

These are just some of the changes we have had in our lives recently. Creatively, I am so excited about my newest purchase - yes I am in love with a "bug" - Cuttlebug! This little machine has changed my artwork lately because I can't stop playing with it! So to christen my changing blog, here's a few pieces of cuttlebugged artwork:

And that's just a few things that I have been working on. If you are Cuttlebug-crazed, I would love to hear from you!

I hope you will continue to visit - this blog will be growing soon in leaps and bounds and I will be posting techniques, ideas, artwork, projects, sketches, challenges and much more - and, of course, some peeks into life as I know it. Stay tuned!

I've had my Cuttlebug for a few years now. Love it. Can't wait for the new folders to be available.

Nice cards. I like the design; simple.

Mary your cards are amazing. Your life is full, with family, careers and (drumroll please) the desire to create with stamps, paper and all the embelishments anyone can want and think off.

I too, love my cuttlebug! It seemed that after I aquired mine, my artwork blossomed! I now use my textured papers (with the embossing folders and die cuts) on every thing I make. I really like the dimension, and how different the embossing folders really compliment our CTMH papers!

Your cards are such an inspiration to me! I got my CB about a month ago and I am often "stuck" in how to use them. I'm VERY new to making cards - previously just stamped and colored in. I'm very embellishment-phobic. But I"m getting better, lol!!! :)
