Curtain Call

I haven't participated in a challenge in awhile but the inspiration image at Curtain Call was just hollerin' at me "Play along! Play along!" Who am I to ignore a challenge? Here's the fun inspiration image:

And here is my take on it:

I kept it fairly simple by using a Cover Plate from Papertrey Ink - Circles! I die cut a piece of white cardstock and kept most of the circles in place but swapped out a few with circles cut from cardstock to match the colors in the photo above. The seam binding ribbon was then colored with Copic markers to match. Happy Birthday (sentiment also from PTI) was added on a little foam tape for some dimension.

Pretty easy, as long as you make sure all the circles are adhered or one will likely pop out when you go to take a photo. Yes, I know this from experience!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back soon with another thing or two to share!

What a PERFECT take on this sketch, Mary! The circle plate with the popped-in color design and the matching seam binding ribbon are just, well, PERFECT! Hugs, Darnell
