Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Day!

The theme of this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop is gold. I love adding some metallic-y color to a card and since I just got my new stamps a few days ago, I couldn't wait to play along. Here is what I came up with, using the new Round Repeats stamp set:

The colors are a bit off in this photo - I had to use my phone as my memory card for my camera was giving me fits! Anyhow, I stamped one of the images from the set in Enchanted Evening ink and then added the smaller image in Versamark, which was then embossed in gold. I layered this section on a gold paper and then onto an Enchanted Evening mat. The sentiment (from Through the Trees, I believe) was stamped in Enchanted Evening on vellum - not sure why that reads a little pink in color - it's just plain vellum. I love the clean, graphic look of the pieces of Round Repeats and I think I will be grabbing this set often!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your gold hop with PTI!
