Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's that time of the month again! No, not THAT time of the month but time for Papertrey Ink's blog hop!  We were challenged to create something using this photo as inspiration:

I needed a Birthday card (and a feminine one at that) and was drawn by the pinks, the damask, stripes, dots....and here's the results:

I told you I liked the pinks! I used damask paper and tiny dots, added a doily and some lighter pink satin ribbon and my stamped focal piece uses the set 2012 Birthday Tags (LOVE!) Now to get this in the mail for a May 2nd Birthday!

Enjoy hopping!

I love how you took the simplicity of the birthday tag and transformed it into such an elegant card. Love the background and the gorgeous colors.

I love pink, too! I like that you focused on the one color-the new birthday tag really stands out. Great job. :)
