Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's time once again for the Papertrey Ink blog hop and the photo inspiration is perfect for this time of the year:


I translated the photo somewhat literally by focusing on the pumpkins but I "cuted" it up a little:


The card itself is the white you see above- the black is simply a layer adhered to the back of the white card base. Does that make sense? Anyhow, I used the Damask Designs paper and the adorable pumpkin bucket die to add the images all spruced up to look like a cat, bat and jack-o-lantern. The faces were made with a variety of punched pieces, most from one border punch. The tiny spider adorning the corner as well as the sentiment are from the Friendship Jar Fall Fillers set. A simple band of sparkle was added to the card front to help ground the pumpkin buckets.
