Play Date Cafe meets Taylored Expressions

I love color challenges (well, let's face it - I love challenges!) and this week's Play Date Cafe challenge was just what I needed. In addition, I found a wonderful sketch this week at Taylored Expressions so I was off and creating in no time flat! Here's the challenges and my sample:

One more holiday card completed!

Oh, what a fun card this was to create!! I used an impression plate from Papertrey Ink as well as their new ornament dies. I cut 2 different ornaments and layered them to add dimension, as well as adding some glitz with a glue pad and glitter. I cut the mats for the ornament using 2 different Nestabilities dies and tied it all up with a pretty bow on top. This was layered onto my background that includes a lovely black and white DP and some gorgeous burgandy trim. I even added a few sparkles because what's the holidays without sparkle?

Thanks for stopping by and while you're here, I hope you consider leaving a comment or becoming a follower. I will be back soon with more goodies to share but in the meantime, please visit Ridiculous Lab for a Halloween wrap-up post.
