I enjoy being a girl!

It's all about GIRLS this week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges. So get your pink on and join in the fun! Here's my sample:

The cardstock and image is from Close To My Heart. The impression plate I used for the baclground is from Papertrey Ink and the border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Here are a couple of Big Ideas incorporated in this card:

* Doilies are big right now and you can buy a pack at any craft store at little expense. Use them in a whole piece or cut apart to highlight and add a sweet girly embllishment to just a section of your card.

* Mix and match details for an eclectic, fun look! The border, impressed background and doily are not all identical in detail but they work well together!

* Use only a portion of an image as your focal point. This beautiful lady is seen only from the waist up on my card but in this case, removing her lower half worked great!
