So Sketchy Sunday - Red, White, Flew!

As the holiday weekend draws to a close, I have a red, white and blue card for our sketch this week. I went with butterflies, not the typical firecrackers and flags, so I changed the wording on the card up a little bit to say Red..White.. Flew!

The stamps are from Unity and are part of a FREE set (Bevy of Butterflies) I got when I signed up for their Kit of the Month. This month, if you sign up, you will get an equally cute free set that is all stars! Just an extra reason to sign up for these great kits! The red and white paper is from My Mind's Eye and the blue strip is from a Cosmo Cricket paper. Ink is all Close To My Heart as are the sparkles on the blue butterfly and also on the trail that leads from him. (or her...however you would like to think of the blue butterfly).

Here's the sketch for the week:

Ok so this sketch looks to be missing a base...it's late, I'm tired, hopefully you get the idea. The size of the card is 8 x 3 1/2 and you can substitute those three squares on the front for circles, embellishments, whatever you wish!

To play along, create a card based on this sketch and upload it to your blog or other online gallery. If you use a gallery, please include the keyword SSS18. Then come back here and add a link to your artwork in Mister Linky below. If you are linked here by Friday at noon you will be eligible to win blog candy at the end of the month!

I'm off to bed so I'm not too tired to start a new week of work. Have a creative week!

Another great sketch! I can't wait to play (and to get caught up on the last few weeks' sketches). Your card is adorable; love the play on words!
