It's time for another sketch challenge!
This week's sketch is a simple one but the added element is to include a sentiment in the same area as the main image! Here's the sample:
This card features more stamps from Sherrod Studio! The flower is an image in the Gracie set (more on Gracie tomorrow) and the sentiment is from Peace and Comfort. To make my card, I stamped the flower onto the patterned paper and cut it out, added a little additional color to the petal's edges with Copics and adhered it to a white matted piece. My sentiment, which is stamped on vellum and then overlayed on top of the flower, is adhered with brown brads at the top corners. The trim is a brown "garter" trim from Stamping Bella.
Here is the sketch if you would like to play along:
To join in the fun, simply create your take on the sketch, then upload to your blog or other online gallery. Please use the keyword SSS17 at galleries. Then come back here and add a link to your artwork in Mister Linky below. If you link up before Friday at noon, you will be entered into my monthly blog candy drawing!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for a special sneak peek of Gracie from Sherrod Studio!

Love the flower stamped on DP - beautiful card, Mary!
I love how you combined the flower and sentiment together.
Can't wait to play this week and get caught up on last week's sketch too. You are so talented! Thanks for all the inspiration.
