Timeless Templates and the PTI Blog Hop

I have never participated in the PaperTrey Ink blog hop before and I think I am technically "late" getting these posted but I love how this project turned out and just HAD to share!

This mini file was created using Lauren Meader's Timeless Template "Filed with Flair". I think this turned out so cute! And it was so easy to make! All of the cardstock is from PaperTrey, as is the ribbon and the stamped used to create the pattern on the green cardstock. That set is called Retro Backgrounds and it's one of my new favorites!! I stamped it with white ink and used it as the larger mat section on each side. Unfortunately, a lot of the image was lost when I added the second layer with the vines and flowers - these stamps are from a new Close To My Heart set being released May 1st! Here are a couple more views of this adorable file:

The flower image was pretty detailed and I didn't want to cut around each petal so I cut it with a circle nestabilities template and I think it works great! A double layer button tied with white cord finishes the look. And the great thing about this template is that it holds a nice assortment of standard sized cards and envelopes - perfect to present as a gift! And, when you buy one of these terrific templates you get a beautiful idea guide with a variety of ways to use the template...the possibilities are endless!

Thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to check out the Blog Hop at PaperTrey Ink to see all of the template artwork entries - they are the coolest!
