Next Thursday!!

My daughter's C-section has been scheduled for NEXT THURSDAY - woohoo!!  I was hoping my granddaughter would be born on my birthday (the 8th) but her doctor will be out of the country on vacation starting the 4th so Thursday the 3rd it is! Do I really care about the date? Not at all! Just a healthy baby - that is all this grandma needs!

In honor of the birth to be, here's a couple sample cards I made as welcome baby/shower party invites. Not the final one we're actually using for our peanut's party but cute - take a look:

 

 

 This first card was all cut on the Cameo using a file I purchased at the Silhouette store. The background is embossed and a cord ties the banner pieces together.

The second card also has an embossed background, this time using a PTI impression plate. The letters were cut with a PTI die and the mats for the letters cut with a Nestabilities die.

That's all for me today - I spent most of the day at my daughter's literally watching paint dry. We had the nursery painted today - pictures coming soon!
