I love a good challenge but I have to say, sketch challenges are my favorite! (You've probably heard me say that before but it bears repeating!)
This week at Corrisive Challenges, we have a great sketch for you and I took some liberties with it! Take a look - here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
Can you still see the sketch? Tilt your head to the side...lol. There it is! Instead of a large oval shaped image, I went with w rectangle - the house itself. And the three star shapes (meant to be embellishments) I replaced with a cloud image. I also moved the sentiment to fit the card. So sketches are a great starting spot but they don't have to be adhered to strictly!
The paper on this card is from My Mind's Eye and the stamps are from Close To My Heart.
Big ideas for the week - try altering a sketch for your images and ideas. I hope you'll stop by the Corrosive Challenges blog and see what the rest of the team did with this week's sketch.
Also, don't forget to use some paper piecing on a larger image, like this house. The windows and door are all stamped on a separate piece of cardstock, colored and cut out to add some dimension and variety to the house.
That's it for me today - I am off to fix breakfast and then rake leaves. Have a creative one!

Great take on the sketch! I love how they can be taken literally or played with like you did. Great card!
Great job on the sketch - and great use of the stamp set, too! TFS!
I love this house! Very cool! And so versatile from a welcome to the neighborhood to a holiday card!
