It's time for another Cupcake Challenge from Taylor! Here's my entry:
The beautiful DP is from 2 Bugs in a Rug and the cardstock is PTI and CTMH. The stamps are from Just Rite and the cupcake itself is paper pieced from a strip of the patterned paper crimped and cut for the liner and the frosting was cut with a scalloped oval nestie, then embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The frosting details were glitzed up with Stickles and I pop dotted the piece up for added dimension. Here's a close-up of the glittery frosting:
The sentiment (Merry Holiday Birthday Cupcake) was also pop dotted to the card. This will be perfect for a family member who's birthday is Christmas Eve!
If you would like to play along with Taylor's challenge, here are the details:
You're not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got 'em why not use 'em!? You're welcome to create something other than a card, just stick as closely to the sketch as possible and you'll be eligible for the Featured Cupcake Sampler honors. If you're uploading to Splitcoast use keyword TECC43 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 43). Leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post or gallery upload so I (Taylor) can check it out!
Have a good Monday everyone!
