June seems to be the optimal wedding time of the year so to get you prepared for any upcoming weddings, Heart 2 Heart Challenges wants to see what you can create with a wedding theme.
One of my favorite color combos for weddings is white and off white together. Add a splash of color and you have a card ready to go! I love this particular card because you can easily substitute any pop of color, any floral stamps and any sentiment to customize it for the couple. I wanted to stay in a rather neutral color mode with this one so my third color is Creme Brulee which enhances the warmer tone of the cream. I embossed the background with an impression plate from Papertrey Ink and used Nestability dies on the focal image and bottom edge.
I hope you will join us this week and show us what wedding creations you are inspired to make. And check out the challenge blog for more fabulous artwork from the rest of the H2H Design team!
Your color combo is gorgeous; the sentiment is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteMary, I was playing around with white & cream yesterday, and just couldn't make it happen! You, however, had no such problem - what a great soft look :o)
ReplyDeleteLove your use of shapes as well as the colors you used. Timeless card!
ReplyDeleteYou used one of my all-time favorite stamp sets! I love how you made the white and cream combo work so well together. Your card is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMary, love the layers, the colors, the ribbon treatment! Love the look of those impression plates!
ReplyDeleteLove this one Mary! The scalloped edge is beautiful. What a great idea to just change up the center panel color, I could make a bunch of these and just have them ready to go! Thanks for the idea:)
ReplyDeleteThis color combo is lovely as is your whole card!
