Trees and Leaves

*The Blog Candy post is below this one - scroll down to see how you can win!!!

This week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges, we are creating with Trees and Leaves. Let's get right to my super simple gift set of cards:

My Mom loves to send out little cards to people from time to time and I am always sending sets of cards for her to use. Well her supply is running low so I made these up for her. Wouldn't this be a cute set of cards to give as a little gift?

These measure 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and were so easy to make! I simply chose a die to use for the image (this die is from Papertrey Ink) and cut 4 of them, then stamped a different tree on each. I used all new CTMH inks on these - Cotton Candy, Pear, Sky and Sunset. I don't have any of these cardstock colors however so I used CTMH colors that were close to the ink colors - Bubblegum, Topiary, Dutch Blue and Autumn Terracotta. I punched a simple border to add to each card and adhered 2 tiny sparkles in a similar color to each card.

Easy, peasy! Add a few envelopes and tie together in a bow for presentation (makes a great hostess gift too!)

I hope you will play along with us at H2H this week and show us your tree and leaves ideas. There's a set of cards from DT member Jessica for one lucky player if we get 40 entries so join in the fun!!

Have a creative week!

  1. Your little cards are adorable. Love the design of them, and love the colors that you used. That is still one of my favorite stamp sets. Think I may dig mine out for the challenge this week. :)
