Recipe time at H2H

This week's H2H challenge is to create a project that somehow incorporates the theme of a recipe. The DT was really thinking outside the box on this one but I stayed with a very traditional interpretation - actual recipe cards. I know, genius thinking for me, huh? LOL

Here's my gift set:

Some old favorites have returned to Tastefully Simple this summer and one of my favorites is the Prickly Pear Cooler. I stocked up and decided to share a little of the goodness with a friend. I added the Cooler to a canning jar, dressed up the lid with a little cardstock and patterned paper and wrapped a ribbon around the rim of the lid. A button finishes it off.

For the card, I made a top fold 6 x 4 1/4 card that features the yummy looking pear from the Fruitful Delight set (Close To My Heart). The pear was stamped with Sweet Leaf ink and colored with a combination of colored pencils and Copic markers. The card itself is based on the pattern Geometric from the Wishes publication, a must-have from CTMH! The polka dot paper is from PTI. Now let's take a look inside the card:

Inside I created a simple pocket to hold three drink recipes using this cooler. They were printed on my pc, cut with a Nestabilities die and backed with cardstock. A quick and easy gift and tasty too!
If you would like additional information on purchasing the Tastefully Simple summer favorites, email me  - this promotion ends July 31st!

And check out what the rest of the team made over at H2H and then play along! We would love to see your recipe ideas - traditional or otherwise! There's a prize up for grabs and we're always on the lookout for our favorites each week!

Until next time, have a creative week!
