Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

I haven't had a chance for a few months to participate in my favorite monthly blog hop - Papertrey Ink's customer blog hop! This month I decided to make it a priority and get a card ready. It's a simple one but effective, I think. First, the theme this month was basing a card on an inspiration image, one of two color palettes or one of three sketches - or a combination of any of those items.

I chose to get a layout idea from the inspiration image and use the color palette of Spring Rain, Harvest Gold, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz and Tropical Teal. Here is the image I was getting ideas from:

I was particularly drawn to the variety of colored frames on the wall as well as the yellow bed frame. Here is my take, using the color palette listed above:

Using the colors in the palette and the placement of colors of the frames on the walls, I arranged my Sketched Stars die cuts, overlapping as the frames are. I then added a yellow tag with sentiment in the are that the bed frame appears. Super simple but I love the result!

Enjoy hopping through all the great artwork today! And thanks for visiting!
